The AVPTC59C14 is a 4.0 TON multi-position air handler. Sometimes when sold as part of a bundle the air handler will be a higher capacity than the condenser. This is by design to achieve the best overall efficiency. 

Goodman's AVPTC series of air handler is an luxury grade air handler designed for mid to high efficiency systems or those who want constant temperature regulation and comfort in their home.

Goodman's AVPTC59C14 uses a variable-speed ECM blower motor and contains both the coil and blower motor in a single cabinet. This makes for easier installation and lower installation costs.

Variable-Speed Motors - With energy-efficient variable-speed motors, these units help to lower utility bills compared to single or multi-speed motors.

ComfortBridge Technology Factory installed in select Goodman products, these units gather data and uses it to make automatic adjustments as needed; to use the minimum amount of energy required to create consistent and comfortable indoor heating and cooling. Rather than installing the communications technology circuit board in the thermostat, the ComfortBridge circuit board is securely installed in the equipment itself and works with any single-stage thermostat to help create customized indoor comfort specifically for you and your family. 

These units are compatible with R-410a refrigerant and has a factory-installed thermal expansion valve for both cooling and heat pump applications. 

These units use the HKSC/HKSX series of heat kits, available for purchase separately. 

Warranty:
The AVPTC59C14 is backed by Goodman's 10 year parts warranty so long as it is registered online through Goodman within 60 days of installation. The installer must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

These units feature an all-aluminum evaporator coil which is designed for efficient heat transfer and durable performance and corrosion resistance from rust.
