Goodman 2 TON 14.3 SEER2 Multi-Position Heat Pump condenser and air handler (GSZM402410, AMST24BU1400)

This is the Goodman 2 TON 14.3 SEER2 multi-position heat pump and air handler. This combination is a complete HVAC system, designed for residential, multi-family or commercial use.

In Northern states and cooler climates (particularly in areas where the outdoor temperature may drop below freezing) we strongly recommend purchasing and installing a heat kit. A heat kit will provide backup heat for when the outdoor unit needs to defrost.

Compressor:

The Goodman GSZM402410 has a high-efficiency scroll compressor.

Orientation:

This unit is designed to be used in an upflow or horizontal configuration. These air handlers can also be used in a downflow configuration, however you will need to purchase an additional downflow kit

Efficiency:

This system is certified by AHRI to function at 14.3 SEER2

Heating and Cooling Capacity:

This unit is rated to provide 22,000 BTUs of heating at 47F and 22,600 BTUs of cooling at 95F

Blower:

This unit has a 9 speed blower. This means that the installation technician will have plenty of options to choose from so that your system will move the proper amount of air through your ductwork based on the size of your home and ductwork.

Stages:

This unit is a single stage heat pump, meaning that when the unit is running, it functions at 100% capacity.

Warranty:
This unit is backed by Goodman's 10 year parts warranty so long as it is installed by a dealer adhering to all applicable federal, state and local codes, policies, and licensing requirements and registered online through Goodman within 60 days of installation.
